A stunning vintage two row cultured Japanese Akoya pearl necklace of 'opera' length, on diamond set flower design clasp. The uniform size of the pearls enables the necklace to be worn with the clasp at the side or back of the neck.
The uniform size pearls of pink/cream overtones, good lustre with few insignificant blemishes. Pearls 7.00-7.5mm Japanese Akoya cultured. Shortest row 72cms (28 inches) including clasp.
On 14ct white gold clasp set with Swiss cut and brilliant cut diamonds, tongue clasp with safety figure of 8 clasp.
Date, between late 1950's to early 1960's.
Clasp has and estimated total diamond weight of 1.10 carats, the diamonds are G/H colour and VS clarity.
Newly restrung knotted on silk.
