Emerald and diamond cluster pendant late 18th century

A rare and impressive antique emerald and diamond pendant.

Set with old mine cut diamonds and a rectangular emerald in cut-down silver settings and foil backed emerald.

The diamonds VS to SI clarity I-J in colour approx 0.50 carats each, well matched original diamonds, silver settings with gold backing.

The emerald of approx 2.50 carats in weight, set in gold cut down collet with domed gold foil back.

Overall the pendant is 2.20cms (excluding suspension ring) by 1.90 cms wide.

George III period c.1790.

Excellent original condition.
