A Bolle glass carafe vase in smoky grey and mauve coloured glass by Tapio Wirkkala (Finnish 1915-1985) for Venini. 

Incalmo technique. Engraved Venini Italia 81 on base. Height: 23.5cm.

This earlier version of this classic vase differs from the current production model being slightly larger and lighter in weight and the mauve colour is paler.
