A significant proportion of the jewellery we sell is designed and made by us. Should you wish to commission a bespoke piece of jewellery we are able to offer suggestions and ideas on style and suitability of the item you wish to have made. Bespoke engagement and wedding rings are particularly popular as we can take an idea or design that a customer has and with our experienced designers translate the idea for our skilled craftsmen to create the perfect ring for you.
We will discuss your requirements which may just be as simple as scaling up or down one of our existing pieces. You may have your own design, in which case we will estimate and offer practical tips as necessary. Once we have agreed upon a design, we will show you a choice of stones before we start work. Once authorised, we will take a deposit and call you when the item is complete.
We offer a full design service, including re-designing or re-modelling old favourites. Our workshop is experienced in all aspects of jewellery making, and we can remake an existing item, maybe one you no longer wear or mount loose stones that you have independently purchased. Of course, we can also supply most types of diamonds and gemstones, including matching and adding diamonds or coloured stones to your own.

Adjustments to finger sizes or complete replacement of the worn shank of your ring.
The tiny claws holding your precious gemstones will become worn over time. We offer a complimentary check for rings to ascertain any reclawing requirements and prevent loss of stones.
Whatever the size, quality or value of your gemstone we are able to provide free quotations for replacement of lost stones or repolishing of scratched or damaged stones. Our years in business have brought with it a worldwide list of contacts which enables us to replace almost any stone.

- Certificated diamonds from 0.25 carats upwards
- Gemstones cut and polished to size
Partial reconstruction, complete remodelling or rebuilding antique pieces.
Our comprehensive stringing service includes pearls and most types of coloured gemstones and beads. We can also match pearls to lengthen necklaces or bracelets. With over 30 years experience we are happy to advise on styles, materials and clasp replacement.
We undertake repairs to most items and we are happy to supply an estimate for any work to be carried out. We can source replacements for missing or lost stones or match a stone for colour and size. We will also re-cut or polish an existing stone.
We treat all items left with us for repair, quotation or valuation with extreme care and all items are fully covered by our insurance.

We purchase jewellery and precious stones from private customers. Please feel free to come to our shop should you have an item that you wish to sell. We pride ourselves in being honest and fair. Should you wish to make an appointment to visit our shop please call us on +44 (0)208 332 1775.
We are able to supply large quantities of silver and gift items; these can be engraved with a dedication, presentation or corporate logo. We can also make unique items in silver or gold for notable events.
We offer a complimentary cleaning service to all our customers. Please feel free to pop into our store should you be passing, to have your jewellery cleaned.
Should you wish to have your jewellery polished it can be given to our workshop for this to be done. There will be a small charge for this.
We pride ourselves on offering an excellent and personalised after sales service. In addition to our complimentary cleaning and valuation service for purchases made at Horton, should you experience any problems, we shall deal with your problem quickly and without any additional cost to you.
Should you experience a problem with your jewellery due to an accident, we shall always advise you fairly as to what action needs to be taken. We shall always offer a fair and competitive quote for repair and ensure that the piece is repaired to the same excellent standard.
